The Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department proudly held a banquet last night to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the department’s incorporation. The evening was a tremendous success, with over 125 guests in attendance, including department members and their families, mutual aid partners, and elected officials.

The department was honored to receive several citations in recognition of a century of service to the community:
• U.S. House of Representatives, presented by Nate Nevala, Chief of Staff for Congressman Guy Reschenthaler
• Pennsylvania State Senate, presented by State Senator Camera Bartolotta
• Washington County Commissioners, presented by Commissioner Larry Maggi

The banquet, catered by Hartsek Catering, ran from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and featured a number of meaningful presentations:
• Remarks from senior-most member Jim Georgagis
• A letter from Past Chief Tony Jesko, read by Captain JJ Cullen
• A presentation by Past Chief Al Marcy
• Presentations by Chief TJ Wilkinson and President Adam Wilkinson

We are extremely thankful to everyone who attended and helped make this milestone celebration so special. Here’s to honoring our past, serving our present, and proudly looking forward to the next 100 years of service to the Stockdale community! 🇺🇸
