Just after 9:30pm Sunday evening, Station 17 was dispatched to assist Station 47 (Fallowfield) for a reported vacant house on fire on 4th Street Extension in Fallowfield. Crews arrived to find a small dilapidated vacant house with fire throughout the structure. Engine 17 responded, along with Tanker 17 for additional water supply.

Suppression efforts began immediately as well as protection of the home next door which would sustain only minor exterior damage from the heat due to our efforts. Crews remained on scene for overhaul for a couple of hours before returning home.
