The Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department was organized for the sole purpose of extinguishing fires and protecting life and property of all who reside in the community, those of the surrounding communities, as well as the people that pass through the communities of the Mid Mon-Valley in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Search and Rescue Detail 8/27/2024 At approximately 12:46 am, Station 17 was activated for a search and rescue detail for a 2 year old child that went missing from her home in Allenport Borough

Chief, Utility, & Brush 17 arrived on scene and performed an initial search. Due to the unknown length of time the child had been missing, additional resources were requested bringing in Station 22 (Lock 4) VFC’s K9 search & rescue team, along with their thermal drone. Station 16 (Roscoe) was added for manpower to start searching from Elco Borough with thermal cameras heading north, Station 33 (Charleroi) ... (Full Story & Photos)
