The Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department was organized for the sole purpose of extinguishing fires and protecting life and property of all who reside in the community, those of the surrounding communities, as well as the people that pass through the communities of the Mid Mon-Valley in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

We’d like to take a moment and give a very big thank you to the members of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church. While we are very saddened to learn of the church’s closure, we are honored to receive a donation in the church’s honor. We’d like to wish Past Fire Chief, Anthony Jesko, a Very Happy Birthday!

A few weeks back, Tony attended a wedding at our social hall and he stopped by to say hello and look over the fire station. It was the first time in a long time that he was back in our area.
Tony was instrumental in the construction of our fire station in the early 1970’s where he used blueprints from a fire station he was a career firefighter at in Virginia.
